    Consultation

    It starts with your measurements, your wardrobe, and the occasion you are dressing for. Bring a reference or bring nothing at all.

  2. 02

    Design and fitting

    Fabric, cut, and silhouette are chosen for your body rather than a size chart. Successive fittings refine the piece until the drape is exact.

  3. 03

    The reveal

    Your finished garment is pressed, checked, and handed over ready to wear, whether that is a red carpet, a boardroom, or an aisle.

What comes out of the studio

Five kinds of work, all cut and fitted by hand in Los Angeles. If the piece you need is not listed, it is still worth asking.

  1. Bespoke suiting

    A suit drafted from your measurements rather than cut down from a size. Jacket, trouser and waistcoat are balanced together, and the canvas, shoulder and sleeve head are built to hold their shape for years rather than seasons.

  2. Red carpet and awards dressing

    Full looks built to a specific date and a specific camera. Fittings run right up to the event, because a garment that photographs well standing still is a different garment from one that survives a step and repeat.

  3. Alterations and refits

    Pieces you already own, made to fit properly. Shoulders reset, sleeves rehung, waists and rises recut, hems balanced. This is the work that turns a wardrobe you tolerate into one you reach for.

  4. Personal styling and wardrobe editing

    A read of what you already own before anything new is bought. What stays, what gets altered and where the real gaps are, followed by shopping that fills them on purpose.

  5. Campaign and editorial styling

    Looks pulled, fitted and finished in the studio before they reach a set. Garments are tailored to the model on the day, so the frame never has to be shot around a bad fit.

The things people ask most often before booking a first fitting. If yours is not here, send it with your enquiry.

Do you only work with celebrities?

No. The red carpet work is the most visible part of the studio, but the same bench does bespoke suiting, alterations and wardrobe styling for private clients. The process is identical whichever you book.

Do you make garments from scratch, or only alter what I already own?

Both. A commission can start from measurements and fabric, or from a piece you already own that has never fitted properly. Many clients start with an alteration and commission something bespoke afterwards.

Where is the studio, and do I need an appointment?

The studio is in Los Angeles and works by appointment only, one client at a time. Send an enquiry with the occasion you are dressing for and you will be given a fitting time rather than a queue.

What happens at the first fitting?

It starts with your measurements, the wardrobe you already own and the occasion you are dressing for. Bring a reference image or bring nothing at all. Fabric, cut and silhouette are chosen for your body rather than a size chart.

Can you dress me for an awards night or a red carpet?

Yes. That is what the VIP Day Experience is built for: the full look styled and fitted to a fixed date, with the final fittings scheduled close to the event so nothing has shifted by the time you walk it.

How do I start?

Send an enquiry with your event date and what you need made or altered. Those two answers are enough to tell you whether the date is workable and what the piece would involve.
